Editorial policy
How we choose
Surefire Computers organizes computer decisions around use cases, compatibility and total cost—not marketplace popularity alone.
Our decision trace
Every guide begins with the outcome a reader needs. We identify the constraints that can rule a product in or out, explain where extra spending changes the experience and provide a focused route to current Amazon listings.
What we do not claim
We do not claim hands-on testing unless a guide explicitly documents it. We do not copy Amazon customer reviews, present affiliate links as editorial evidence or use paid placement to change rankings.
How recommendations make money
Some outbound links are Amazon affiliate links. If you click one and complete a qualifying purchase, Surefire Computers may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. The affiliate relationship does not change the price shown by Amazon.
Freshness and corrections
Technology changes. Product pages can change faster than editorial pages, which is why our catalog links to focused, tagged Amazon searches rather than displaying unstable prices. Confirm specifications, seller, warranty and compatibility on the current listing. Send corrections to hello@surefirecomputers.com.
Before publication
The initial 150-guide library is a structured editorial foundation. Each guide should receive human fact-checking, product-specific evidence and periodic updates before it is promoted or submitted for advertising review.
